I have seen the following advice on this fault on two seperate forums, it is as follows. Remove the back of the phone and look for a metal covered chip or unit adjacent to the battery contacts. Apply reasonably hard pressure to this and re assemble and test the phone. Do this with care and if it fails to clear the problem it should if carefully carried out do no harm.
