a friend told my son to put toothpaste on wii disk to clean them now wii screen says cant read disk help please.

Advise was not helpful. Presumably the idea was to polish it off and remove any minor scratcges off the disc?
I assume the laser is now contaminated. The paste is abrasive and is likely to score the surface.
Repair cost could be in the area of £60+.
Don't use toothpaste again
