mondeo st24 2000model estate alarm problem?

hi i own a mondeo st24 estate and this mornin my wife opened the car door and the alarm and indicaters wont stop flashin only wen she shuts the door , we can stil drive it but the indicaters r flashin and the alarm sounding can some1 please help

ive tried ghost it only sounds wen u enter the car and on the move doesnt go of wen no1 is near it just wen we open the door

have you tried locking it then unlocking it with car being empty with all doors/boot/bonnet closed before locking
