How can I fix my paper Aurora AS802MX paper shredder?

My motor won't go on my Aurora AS802MX paper shredder? It won't turn on when I plug it in (and I've tried at different outlets). It doesn't appear to be jammed. Help, please?

I had the AS702 and when it wouldn't work it turned out that it wasn't sitting in the basket right. There is a safety switch that only activates (let's the machine work) when it's seated correctly.
