my camera says condensation, operation paused?

unable to use camera as above message seems to shut camera down. also tape will not shut. can anybody help

Open cassette drawer and remove cassette, take wife's hairdryer, put on medium heat and direct the warm airflow into the cassette bay, over the heads and sensors for about 2 min, then try again
