Please can anyone advise. i have just bought a 2nd hand v-fit treadmill and the belt is slipping can anyone advise on how to repair or where i might find a user manual . thank you

When ever I try to start it it counts down 3,2,1 then starts, but the speedo says 1mph but the motor doesn't move, if i change speed still nothing happens and after 10seconds or so it turns on and the left hand display reads "E1"
Please can someone tell me what this means as i have lost the manual!! ;)
