hi i have an ideal responce boiler and i cant remember which way the value under the boiler, which you use to top up the water when the pressure is low needs to be to be open/closed. can any one help please i topped up the water today and it is now leaking into my kitchen and the pressure is at 4 bar... not good at all

The handle (or screw point) needs to be across the pipe to be off.
If the handle or screw are 'in line' with the pipe, it is left open.
