I want to buy the Bosch and know nothing about electrical supply but am advised to check the supply is sufficient - I thought cooker supply is universal? Can you advise please?

The supply voltage will be the same in your area (universal).What the problem is is the CURRENT, how many amps the device needs to run in a full ON state.This is all to do with MAX current load your cooker point can provide and how big the cable current rating is in you home.Go to the fuse box and find the cooker isolation/fuse and read what the current rating is.Now check the cable to your cooker from the cooker point can handle that amount of current.The fuse rating will give you the MAX current your new cooker can be on your home circuit
