I have a two year old Diplomat dishwasher, from MFI.

After I set any one of the three programmes and turn the machine on, it starts and after five seconds the motor and both lights stop for a second, then come on for a second - and repeats this on/off every second for about one and a half minutes. Then it works normally.

Is this a problem with the main board and therefore probably not worth repairing, or is it likely to be a simple repair?
