power light on cant select a program?

my indesit DI 450 power light goes on but no program lights up and on pressing program select button nothing happens the selected program doesnt light up and doesnt start a cycle

Hotpoint Aquarius BF11 Dishwasher won't start - light on though. I interrupted a cycle last time I used it by mistake so I think it has got confused. Any ideas?
