My boiler gives me heating but when i turn on hot water the safety light flashes 5 beats per second and the boiler cuts out. After this I can sometimes get the heating back after 5 minutes but at other times not for a few hours. The pressure also goes up to above 2.5 sometimes 3. The boiler is about 8 years old. Does anyone know whats wrong or do I need a new boiler?
