I have a Danfoss Electronic programmable room thermostat and am having a failure to connect to the RX1 receiver which necessitate having to go to the receiver unit and pressing the CH1 button, this also result in the boiler running on after the room temperature has been reached, again requiring a receiver reset of the CH1 button. Does this require the programming of the RX1 and if so how do I obtain instructions on how to do this. I am a retired computer programmer and can follow instructions if I have them. Can you Help?

I'll answer for myself. I bought a new RX1 receiver it appears that this device has a questionable history. No point in fighting it, just replace it.
