can you advise me on how to fix please. My central heating boiler pilot will light but once the thermostat is turned on it goes out ???

either pilot light needs cleaning and/or thermocouple needs replacing suggest you have boiler serviced a BBU is one appliance i would not advise an amateur to mess with
