Insinkerator 444 racket?

My Insinkerator 444 makes an awful racket when I turn it on; it seems that the blades are loose on their retaining "bolts" (not bolts, circular heads). How do I tighten and quiet the machine?

Is it really worth the effort. The blades should be loose. The noise will be something else, maybe bearings packed up. Heck of a job to dismantle & do major repairs on an insinkerator that is all gummed up & corroded. Most people would just go buy another one.

Emendment to my question above: I discovered that indeed the bolts holding the grinding blades are hex bolts, but when I got a ratchet extender and tried to tighten the bolts, they simply spun in place.
This issue appeared previously, see below:

Rodders August 2009: Do you mean the two(2) blades on the plate that you can see if you look down the hole ? If yes, those two blades should be able to turn loosely due to the centrifugal force of the spinning plate, therefore not jamming up the machine if anything gets stuck in there

Thank you Rodders, but surely the noise coming out of my 'spinning blades' cannot be right.
Updated question: should I disassemble and search for means to reduce the noise? Additionally, should I buy and replace the seal for the shredder if I disassemble?
Thank you, Stet44
