Our hotpoint WDF740 is flashing an F13 error after about 5 minutes of a cycle. what is this and how do we fix it?

Hello, We had a similar problem recently, have you tried cleaning the pump (page 12, Care & maintenance section, manual)? We called an engineer round and were a bit embarrassed to find it was something so simple. FW
