Minolta X500 slr camera, shutter will not fire?

The shutter will not fire when button pressed to take a photo, nor will mirror flick up.
Changed batteries but not solved.

How can I dismantle to try & fix

I have the same problem with my X-500. I took it to a specialist who said that it could not be repaired because it is due to an electrical failure within the camera which cannot be repaired due to the camera's age and lack of availability of parts... :(
