Hi, i have a Sime Frirendly Format 80e combi boiler. Over a few months the pressure guage started to rise slowly so once it got to about 3 bar i let some water out the radiator. It still rises albeit slowly. Can anyone help?

i had the same problem with my boiler and i called a plumber he stiched me big time i have learnt alot since then all you need to do is remove the water pump and de-scale it you can buy the acid they use from most diy stores for under 10 pounds takes about 2hrs then get a preasure water pipe and run the water if the water is smooth you are ok. dont get worried about removing it just take pictures of what you remove and write down the steps you take it out... good luck ps you can also go to a boiler shop and ask them

hi, sounds like its letting past water and filling the system up over time. remove the filling loop, regs stat they are not to be left connected when not inuse. make sure its turned off at the end of the braided pipe then remove the end from c/h return. you may find its got a faulty isolation valve on the braided pipe if so get a new one
