Renault Clio reg 52 Keeps chugging?

Its had an Injector 3 replaced and a ignition coil but randomley chuggs along as it if its a learner driving, then clears and is ok

I had similar on my passat, the dealer had not changed the air filter at the service, they put a screwdriver through it instead. problem was it clogs up, goes into, what they call limp home mode. turn off restart, could be fine for a time. check air filter.
