how to fix saab hood?

i had my hood down yesterday but today it just wont go down i don't no what to do

some d**k head has slashed my hood - passenger side just above the window in order to try and steal a bag of rubbish i had on the back seat!!! Is there any way i can repair rather than buy a whole new hood? many thanks x
