My Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 WM62 will not start. The fuse is OK?
For a little while the door had to be re-shut a number of times before starting. Could it be the microswitch on the door catch? I have taken this out (Metalflex TipZV-445). Is there any way of testing this before getting a replacement which might prove not to be the problem?

With hotpoint washers they have an unofficial trade mark which is the door always needs an extra push when starting a program if you"ve had problems with this you will more than likely have to replace to door lock
