How do I remove washing machine door seal (Hotpoint WD860)?

I have a hotpoint WD860 that has just started to make a noise. When I turn the drum by hand it sounds as though a coin or somthing similar is caught inside. Problem is that I cant see a way to remove door seal to fix it.

unplug machine turn it on it's side remove the tub to pump hose and wotk out that way
