My cooker, model SE454BK, serial 40800030's grill isn't working, I can hear the fan come on and there's some heat out it but even turned up to full I can put my hand directly underneath the grill element. It also doesn't appear to glow red, is this a new element or is there a temperature regulator that could be causing the problem?

If it is the element is it easy to replace by yourself?
