Having been on holiday and machine resting for 2 weeks, E60 code comes up immediately I try to start a programme. Have turned it off at the wall (as an engineer previously told me to do) and given it a rest!!, but it still comes up with same error code. Previous engineer cost a fortune and said that it resolved itself by switching off at wall!!! PLEASE HELP AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

could be a faulty wash heater insulation.Replace the heater and retry unless you have test meters!!
