My Car Door Wont Open (Polo E, W Reg)?

My car door wont open on the drivers side but will close and ontop of this on the passengers side it wont even open or close plus my clifford alarm is acting up thats not working either now as before it used to open and close the doors.

Can you hear the vacuum pump running in the boot? as they are prone to getting filled with water and this will stop the system from working correctly
