Pilot light on my old metil boiler will nt stay on how can I fix it ?

it sounds like you need a new thermocouple it the bit that the flame touches when the pilot light is lit you can go to the plumbing cent and get a new one and fit it yourself its very bendy so bend it to the shape you need should be a 10mm or 8mm spanner to undo it be carefull not to snap it
