my vw bora engine keeps cutting out, what could it be ?

my VW Bora 1.6 petrol keeps cutting out and i lose power to everything as soon as the temp gauge gets to 90, i have changed the temp switch but it is still doing it can anyone help me on what this could be ?

not sure on your model but usually g/box end of the engine at the flywheel so look for any wiring/connectors near there,good luck

do you know where the crank ensor is located as i have done the code reader today and this is what it has said but not sure where it is ??

could be your crank sensor but don`t like guessing as it could cost a lot of money,has it been on a code reader?
