Avit AW8 motherboard (front panel sound)?

hi, can anyone help plz, I want to setup the front panel on my PC so I can use a headset. The motherboard I have is an Abit AW8, with a 7.1 sound card that comes with the board. It is all setup except for this feature; the manuals seem a little vague when dealing with this feature. Your help is appreciated.

The front panel audio connector is on your sound card to the rear of the computer. its a 5 pin connector next to the CD audio connector. Just connect the leads to the connector ensuring you get pin 1 on the connector to pin 1 on the soundcard. Regards. Jason.
