How to fit a new belt to a Zanussi tumble dryer?

I have bought a new belt it is the correct one according to the shop but I'm having trouble fitting it correctly. The drum goes round when empty, but put clothes in and it doesn't move.
The model is a Zanussi 7D265

if the belt is fitted correctly and tight around the drum/motor pulley then the start capacitor attached to the motor is probably faulty
