how can i fix my turbo?

i have a vauxhall zafira 2.0 dti 52 plate and i have lost all the power due to the turbo not working

Start at the intercooler (like a radiator at front of car) check for holes/damage,then work towards turbo checking all hoses for splits /loose jubilee clips, finally at turbo take intake hose off and check impellor turns freely, tho if any rocking or movement in the shaft means trouble. When mine went it was a hole in the intercooler and the engine management shut off the turbo (turbo was fine)

make sure that it is the turbo and not just one of the hoses/pipes split. take one of the pipes of that comes from the turbo and feel inside and if the prepella has got movment in it then you can get the turbo reconditioned or get a new one but there is no easy fix. if you are from the barnsley area i can take a look for you as i am a mobile mechanic
