the hinges on door on my Hoover Performa 1100 have broken. I would like to replace the whole door/hinge assembly.

yes its possible you have to take the front part of the door rubber off to do it to take door rubber off remove the plastic or steel retaining ring holding it on then pull door rubber up until free of machine WITH MACHINE UNPLUGED! you can then get you hand in to the hinge and undo it
