I was downloading when the card froze. I tried to open it again but I got a message saying I need to format the card. When I attempted to format it, it started but then said "Windows was unable to complete format." I put it in my phone and it would not mount or format there either. I don't need to save the data but I would like to use the card. How can I get it to work again?

Been unable to format it in 2 devices mean that that card is dead. There is nothing that can be done except replacing it.
