Problem with a DF54 Hotpoint dishwasher?

Timer on the DF54 stops at number 11- move it to next position it then continuse until number 35 and stops again and need another nudge

I've got a DF53, and the timer has been sticking on 31. Check that the heating element is OK. Mine had cracks/holes in(!). I think (but not yet checked this) that it's now OK....probably.
