I have an AEG Favorit 65050VI, which fails to heat the water and wash on all programmes. It takes in water and removes it and counts the minutes down. Could this just be a failure to heat the water, causing the spray arms to wash? How easy is it to access the control board to check the heater relay soldering?

remove the screws that hold the fascia panel on to gain access to the pcb heater relay.you might have to remove the whole outer door panel to remove the fascia depends!.heater relay bad joints is common.resolder and test.heater if OK should be around 29ohms across the terminals
