how do i get my filter out of Phillips Whirlpool AWG995?

Ive located my filter which is at the front of my machine but im having problems getting the filter out is it just a case of pulling it out or is there a knack.

hi if theres no screw on the front of it just turn it anticlock wise sometimes their tight and you need pliers
