how can i fix my glow worm fuelsaver mk2?

my pilot light went out and re-lit fine but has recently continued to do this.i have replaced the thermocouple with the same type but the pilot flame will not stay on...any ideas on whatever else could be wrong? i have also tapped the casting to check the solenoid has not stuck but to no avail.please help.thanks.

I must add that this work must be undertaken by a qualified corgi gas engineer who can show you an upto-date identity card.

If the pilot flame is good enough then you need to replace the "Limit stat" a wire that connects to the gas valve and finishes near the top of the boiler on top of a pipe,its a safety feature that prevents the boiler over heating.the usual suspect costs about 15-20 pounds to buy.If after that you have no joy im afraid its replace the gas valve.most likely the limit stat 99%.
