Hi Gilly,
I have a Micra Shape, May I offer some ideas ?
The clutch can be adjusted via the nut and lock nut, This sits on top of the gear box/clutch bell housing. The job is fiddly but it is simple if you have nimble fingers and a 10mm spanner.
The other alternative is to go for complete clutch replacement, I had a figure of;one hundred and fourty pound quoted at my local clutch clinic.
I hope some of this reply is of some use.
