Annoying despite my flat being a brand new conversion, this extractor fan hasn't really ever worked properly.

After the first few uses it made a really loud screeching sound and then shudder to a halt. Its never worked since. The lights work, but the fan doesn't. Fuse doesn't need replacing. Anyone got any suggestions?

ours did the same, were in a rented flat and stupidly i decided to look myself and found it had been put together by monkeys, im on the hunt for a propper instalation manual now
