Ford fiesta, car stalling!?

upon pulling up at a junction, the car stalls itself. you have to keep the revs up, can anyone confirm wether this is the stepper motor?? or any other ideas?? has recently had a good service, so plugs and dizzy are good!

first thing have you turned the idle screw up? if not do that its on the side of the carb[it should be depending on the cars age some of the later cars have an elecric idle valve]may be that broken[if its a late fiesta]
