Put new batteries in me sky+ HD remote and its still not working

If you have a digital camera (not a DSLR unless it has live view) or camera phone, try pointing the remote at the lens, if it's working you should see a blue/white light on the screen comming from the remote when you push any of the buttons, if you do the remote is working

If nothing from any button, might be faulty, BUT might not be the remote, Could be the remotes receiver end
