Vokera Linea 735 combi?

Boiler won't fire when hot water is turned on but temp. rapidly goes up on digital display whilst the tap is running. All is fine when CH is called for and the hot & cold supplys to boiler are not reversed.

sounds like the plate heat exchanger is blocked
