how can i fix my 437wv white knight tumble dryer?

when i turn it on it wont turn but if u take off the lid and give it a slight push it will work but when it has to turn the other way the same thing happens again it wont turn, its a reverse tumble dryer

...sounds like the capacitor on the motor to me !!! Cost max £10

I suspect the brushes on the motor are worn.
