i have replaced my headlight bulbs in my 51 plate ka, however i seem to have caught the reflector cone in the headlight, while fitting bulbs, does this mean i need new headlights?

Reflector cone?
If you have damaged the coating on the tip of the headlamp bulb, Not good, It will change the bulb pattern.
Otherwise, what is the problem.
Replacing a bulb, should not give any problems, take old one out, put new in, No problem.
