beco wma520w washing machine wont start?

Door latch not broke and all lights coming on but just wont start after a while the start button starts to flash to say the programe as paused. Empted filter just cant work out whats wrong.

does the door lock lock so you can't open it?. will not start if the door lock is faulty and not locking
