how can i fix my cooker rangemaster 110 ?

clock keeps going onto auto and oven electode will not activate to light the gas in oven.
resetting the clock only lasts for minutes then returns to auto with clock flashing

Probably timer unit gone, about £60 to buy, few screws under front panel lip, most spares places stock them, do a search for the timer.
