when i plug the power supply to my dsi,i can only get a brief power surge when i turn the dsi on?effectively the dsi wont turn on.Whats wrong with it?

I`m afraid it sounds like the F1 fuse has blown which is a common fault so unless your good with a soldering iron i would buy a broken hinged ds and swap the motherboard with the touch screen still attached you tube provide many ways of fixing a ds from changing fuses to a complete shell change over .
