i have tried restarting and have washed out all the arms although they did not appear blocked. it appears to start but after a while 15 - 20 mins it continuously bleeps when i look inside it is showing rinse and flashes the restart three times over and over again. help only a year old

Sounds like something stuck in the trap.You will need to remove the metal plate at the front base.There is a trap that can be removed by twisting anti clockwise.Do this and have a look in there.
