how can i fix hotpoint aqaurius 1100?

i need to undo my drainage pipe it seems to have a clip round it, I think it has a blockage

the drainage pipe is held on the pump with a clip which needs squeezing together to release it. Use a tool such as "mole grips"
( basically a type of pliers that lock in place ). to remove it, and replace it.
