Breville BB400 lights on panel but unable to press buttons?

I have a Breville BB400 breadmaker. It turns on and the time comes on panel but you are unable to press any buttons. How can I fix this ? is this worth fixing ? Is it a do it yourself repair ? Any information will be greatly appreciated
