I need help. I have a dishwasher which doesn't get any water in the machine when you turn it on. It is a new dishwasher and it starts but no water will go into it. It is a kenmore.

Obviously check that your ball valve is turned on, I presume you have done that.
Water enters the device via a solenoid activated valve, usually operated at mains voltage. Check that voltage is being applied here at the appropriate point in the cycle and also check it for continuity.
