How can I fix a problem with my Candy Frost-free fridge freezer N1B?

Everything seems to be working okay, but now and again it decides to click on and off continuously for a period of time. The light works, and both fridge and frezer are working correctly. it seems to be the ignition/starter. Sometimes if I turn the dial up a number it will stop, but thet doesn't always work. it will be okay for a day or so, then start clicking again. Green light goes on and off with clicking, but there is no yellow light showing. Be glad of your help!

intermittent fault with the motor/compressor.the clicking you are hearing is a sign of the motor not starting.as the temperature rises the thermostat tells the motor to start,if the motor doesn't start the thermostat will keep sending a signel to the motor at regular intervals untill the motor starts.the clicking you are hearing is this process, this is my initial feeling, however I would also investigate the thermostat/pcb operation and also the defrost evap circuit.this is something you cannot do at home, you are going to need a engineer to address this problem.a motor replacement and coolant/recharge wouldn't be cost affective.I wouldn't condem the appliance without making the above checks.carry on running the appliance untill the motor totally fails and buy a replacement fridge/freezer.don't worry the appliance is not in a dangerous state ,try and stay away from beko,.
